Personal Evaluation of the Kingfisher Children's Encyclopedia

Chris B

This is the most comprehensive children’s encyclopedia. It is clear, concise, easy to understand and contains many colourful drawings, maps and designs. It contains a wealth of information including notes on countries and animals under a small typed black bold heading above the short notes on the subject.

I fully recommend one buying this ultramarine blue and dark blue encyclopedia due to their thoroughness and easy availability of information and fairly cheap cost for the set of ten books.

Criticism of one particular book

One thing I would say about this book is that maybe the pages could have been colour coded for subject. It should be more accessible for children. It could have been made more of a pop up book for children. It could have had more structured layout for people to read. The pictures could have been more co-ordinating with the text.
