My holiday in Norfolk

The holiday was at South view cottage with Catherine M, Jean H and Eileen.

Sat 8th

Left at 11.40am. Lunch 1pm Nearly got lost. Arrived at cottage at 4.15pm. Fish and chip supper.

Sun 9th

Visited Great Yarmouth just to visit it.

Mon 10th

Visited Great Yarmouth to buy presents and have a drink and food.

Tues 11th

Visited Suffolk Wildlife Park at Lowestoft. Saw two lions lying down in a cage, rhinos giraffes, birds, monkeys and badgers. I bought four pens - black wildlife biros with blue ink. One pen was for myself, one for my mother, one for Sarah and the fourth one was for Philip. Bought a guidebook costing three pounds.

Wed 12th

Visited Wroxham. Restauranted outside: turkey sandwiches, salad and chips with a pot of tea. At Roy’s bought 'The Lord of The Rings' book - 'Part One - The Fellowship of the Ring' costing £6.99, a razor and shaving gel.

Thurs 13th

Visited Somerleyton manor, a county house belonging to a famous couple - Lord and Lady Somerleyton. Bought a guidebook, black bookmark and a pink Somerleyton biro for my Aunty Margaret. At a restaurant/cafe had tea, crisps and some of Jean’s chocolate cake with white sliced cream pieces on the top of the cake which were taken off her cake for me to eat.

Fri 14th

Visited Winterton-on-Sea beach. Paddled - then cafe: a banana milkshake for me, toilet, then van to the Jolly Farmers restaurant for lunch: a turkey baguette with chips for me, then coffee and mandarin cheesecake, then home to vacuum and pack for going home tomorrow. Bed.

Sat 15th

Awoke at 4 a.m. Bath 6.05 a.m. For breakfast toast. Watched T.V. Checked house and left. Returned to St. Edwards.
