Trip to Greenwich

by Lee H.

On Thursday 3rd April 2003, Jean drove Paul, Dominic, Will and myself to Greenwich.

We saw a big old ship called the Cutty Sark. We walked to the Maritime Museum and looked around. I liked the model ships there.

Then we went into town and had a hot lunch of traditional Pie and Mash. We went through a tunnel under the Thames, and walked along the riverside. Then we went into Greenwich Visitor Centre and had drinks in the café. Finally we walked back to the car, and drove back to Transitions.

I feel that the wide view over the Thames and the old historic buildings gave the day a pleasant atmosphere.
