On a cool bright morning in February, Terry drove Winston, Paul, Dominic and myself to Hampton Court. Entrance was free of charge. At the front entrance the attendants were dressed in costume. There were lots of apartments with paintings and tapestries on the walls. There was a big chapel with stained glass windows. At the back of the palace was a view of columns of evergreen trees radiating outwards and a lake with a fountain. Outside there was a very well kept ornate garden. For lunch we had sandwiches, Pringles and a drink. We got back to Transitions in good time.
